Marissa and Steven were referred to us by Emily at Runway Events, and we are so grateful to Emily for connecting us! First, because we absolutely love working with Runway Events, they made our job SO much easier, and took care of EVERYTHING before and during the wedding.
After meeting with Marissa, Steven, and Marissa’s parents Jacquelyn and Bruce at Panera one day, I knew the wedding day was going to be great. The couple said the most important thing to them was to have fun on their wedding day, and the most important thing for Manny and I is that the couple loves our work, and that our personalities vibe, so it was the perfect match!
Marissa got ready at The Grand Bohemian, so our day started off there, with some getting ready photos of her with her gorgeous cathedral veil from Calvet Couture Bridal, getting her hair and makeup touched up, and some cute pictures of her and her bridesmaids in their matching robes! After that, we made our way over to Citrus Club, to get the bride’s detail photos, along with her getting ready photos in her beautiful dress from Calvet Couture Bridal. Steven was right next door in the Groom Suite, hanging out with the guys, and having a good time, like most grooms do on their wedding day! While Marissa and Steven didn’t want to have a first look before the wedding ceremony, they did want to have a first touch so they could talk to each other and calm their nerves before walking down the aisle. These tiny hands were a hilarious inside joke that made an appearance throughout the day! We were able to get some empty ceremony photos before the guests started arriving, which are some of my favorite photos to get, and then the Ceremony was scheduled to begin!
The ceremony was officiated by Marissa’s dad, Bruce. And it was so so sweet! Make sure to watch their Wedding Highlight Film at the top of this page to hear a snippet of the ceremony and vows.
After the Ceremony, Marissa + Steven had a married moment to celebrate, and then we started on Family Formals, and Wedding Party Pictures. After those, we got to take some beautiful Couples portraits in front of a statement wall a on the street in Downtown Orlando despite the grey and drizzling weather. We got some beautiful and creative shots, but don’t take my word for it, check them out below!
While we were taking our photos, and cocktail hour was taking place, the fabulous teams of the Citrus Club and Runway Events were flipping the Ceremony location into a beautiful reception area! After a fun entrance into the reception, the couples first dance, and the special Father Daughter, Mother Son dances, some toasts and a blessing, dinner was served. The delicious food was catered by Citrus Club!
There was a lot of dancing, a lot of laughing, some very fun bouquet tossing and garter removal, cake cutting and more dancing! At the end of the night, Marissa + Steven has a last dance alone in an empty reception hall, and then had a glow stick exit downstairs before heading off to their Honeymoon!
