Intimate & Urban Wedding Photography | Orlando, FL

Ivan and Isabel had a beautiful backyard wedding in the early evening, surrounded by their closest family members. Isabel had her hair and makeup done beautifully when I arrived, and after a few detail photos of her rose gold wedding jewelry, her simple white bouquet, and her gorgeous lace dress with a corset back, it was time for mom to help her get dressed. Both Isabel and her mom started tearing up during this process, and I started tearing up seeing them both, and the strong bond they share.

After a few quick getting ready photos with the groom (the couple didn’t specifically ask for these photos, but Ivan was looking so sharp, I’m glad I was able to capture these!), it was time for the ceremony! And the groom had the cutest reaction ever to seeing his bride walking down the aisle, he was giddy with excitement!

The ceremony was sweet, given by a close friend, and lots of hugs and happy tears were shared after the couple said their “I Do’s”. Isabel and her dad shared a Father Daughter dance, followed by the couples first dance together as husband and wife. After some cake, we were off to take their couples photos!

Ivan and Isabel wanted an Urban vibe for their wedding photos, and what better urban vibe is there than in the heart of Downtown Orlando? We hit a few side streets and sides of parking garages, we got kicked off the top of a parking garage (I’m still kinda upset about that, there weren’t any signs saying we couldn’t be there), the couple took a shot together at Dove Cote, and then we finished off at an abandoned gas station/car garage.

I gotta say, I really enjoyed this change of pace as opposed to a garden/forest vibe. Both options are great, and both Urban and Nature couples photos are so much fun, but the Urban vibe really seemed to match Ivan and Isabels personality as a couple!
