Intimate and Nostalgic Engagement Session | Jacksonville, FL Engagement Photography

We firmly believe that every Engagement Session Experience is unique, and is completely based off of your relationship! During our consultation process, we dig deep to learn about your relationship, what drew you to each other, how your partner makes you feel, and how you imagine your dream engagement photos will turn out.

Danielle + Matthew actually met at the Jacksonville Airport, they were on the same flight! They got there early, met, grabbed drinks, talked the whole flight, and the rest is history. For their Engagement Session, they wanted to focus on storytelling, the concept of separateness and coming together, some architecture, and candid moments.

To start the story telling, we focused on poses and prompts that would show them passing each other but not noticing at first, then as we moved through the session, we focused more on showing them catching each others attention, and the process of getting more and more comfortable with each other. We did this by some longer exposure photos, to add some motion blur, and having more space between them in the photos.

To bring it full circle and showcase the intimacy and comfort that they’ve built with each other, we did tons of prompts that allowed them to interact with each other, so we could capture those real and unfiltered moments that are unique to each relationship.
